What Qualifies as an Elopement here at OPC?

- If your entire group including yourself, your guests, family, friends, children (over the age of 3), your officiant, photographer, and all other vendors totals 15 persons or fewer, your event qualifies as an elopement.
- If you have 16 or more persons, your event is considered a wedding and wedding rates apply.
- Elopements require a 90 minute minimum rental period. You can add more time in 30 minute increments if you like.

Elopement Rate High Season | May – October
$750 / 1.5 hour minimum – All days – RENTAL ONLY
Additional time available in 30 minute increments at $175/each
Elopement Rate Low Season | November – April
$650 / 1.5 hour minimum – All days – RENTAL ONLY
Additional time available in 30 minute increments at $150/each

– OPC is an intimate, historic and affordable little white chapel perfect for elopements. Even with just a handful of people, it feels warm, cozy and comfortable inside.
– Over many decades Oaks Pioneer Church sees hundreds of simple and sweet elopement ceremonies, sometimes with as few as four people, including the happy couple! We’re within a very short stroll to the banks of the Willamette river and views of downtown Portland. Our grounds adjoin Sellwood Park, a lush forested park with paved pathways, picnic areas, restrooms, and a playground. The setting’s natural beauty combined with our flexibility make it an ideal elopement venue, even on short notice. – There are no “Hold” deposits. When you wish to secure your date, all fees are due.
– Rental process is entirely online making it safe and convenient.
– An additional fee of $100 is required for all reservations that fall on national or commonly observed holidays.
