Local Portland Photographers to Capture Your Moment
When I got married 16 years ago, I learned a very valuable lesson… the hard way. We hired a local art student with a catalogue of very interesting images and imagined he would capture some beautiful and candid shots that we could look back on for years to come. Today, we barely have 1 or 2 images I can look at now without cringing.
What I’m getting at is this. Hire a professional. And not just any professional. Hire someone who has experience taking wedding images and whenever possible, experience shooting at your wedding venue.
The local Portland photographers listed here have experience photographing weddings here at OPC. We’ve seen their work, and it’s fantastic. Each has their own unique style, but all of them are pros.
Consciously Captured Photography
“Hello! I’m your photographer, Shelby Haynes! I’m an Alaskan Native now residing in the beautiful state of Oregon. I’m outgoing, personable and a goofball, but most of all I’m a passionate, determined, and professional photographer who loves to capture the moments that we never want to forget. My editing style is more natural while enhancing the colors that are already present within the images. I love to capture the raw emotions that are in involved in a wedding and capturing the love, fun, and joy that happens during a wedding day! “

“I’m looking to work with people who share a love for gorgeous, authentic images who want to collaborate with a photographer who feels more like a friend than a stranger. If you think I might be the right person to take your pictures, please reach out to me! ”

Robert Rodriguez Photography
“I started my career as a professional photographer more than ten years ago. The early years of my career were spent as a newspaper photographer running around west Texas covering everything from rodeos to former presidents. I bring the same documentary approach to weddings as I do to my journalistic work. I think it truly allows for candid moments to blossom and for couples and guests to enjoy each other. I love witnessing people basking in the joy of their wedding day. It’s an honor to be chosen by couples who select me to share a day with them, their family, and their closest friends. If you feel like my style may fit your needs, I would love to work with you in photographing your special day.”

Catalina Jean Photography
“I am most inspired by photos that are brimming with emotion. Photos that look like your favorite song lyric, reflecting the feeling on those perfectly imperfect days. Like when you both went to the beach and it was suppose to be sunny but it rained and you laughed together while snuggling into his jacket to keep warm, realizing that in his arms is where you feel most at home. There is so much deep beauty in the seemingly ordinary. But really, there is no ordinary. Because when you found him, when you found her, everything changed. Ordinary life transformed into an extraordinary adventure together.” – Catalina
